Watch this scary moment when a huge chunk of rock breaks off and lands on Brian Koralewski’s leg while he was bouldering at Little Rock Canyon, Provo in Utah on 29th July 2017.
Miraculously, Brian survived this terrible fall. The chunk of rock was 10 feet high at the lowest point and weighed approximately 300 lbs. Brian calculated the falling weight/force of the rock on impact to be around 3300 lbs. Ouch!
Brian explains “I was able to hike out and drive to care, but sustained broken fibula, laceration (6 stitches), partial tear of tendon, a nasty scrape and a decent bruise.”
